Our commitment

SpaceNextDoor Inc. is committed to ensuring that our website and platform are accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, as required under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and aligned with the federal Accessible Canada Act.

What we've done

We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility across our platform:

• All pages include a skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users
• Interactive controls (buttons, form fields) have descriptive labels readable by screen readers
• Images include alternative text descriptions
• Colour contrast meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 ratio required for normal text
• The site can be navigated using a keyboard alone
• The primary language of each page is identified in the HTML
• Form inputs are associated with visible labels

Known limitations

SpaceNextDoor is an evolving product and we acknowledge that some areas of our platform may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.0 AA. We are actively working to identify and address any gaps. Third-party components (such as maps and payment forms) may have their own accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control.
